Nepal is also one of the most under-developed countries in the world, with low rates of literacy, high rates of poverty and a persistent gender imbalance. The government is frequently unable to provide adequate education and health facilities throughout the country and both urban and rural areas are forced to live without necessary resources to promote growth and development of their communities:

  • 42% of the population are below the poverty line on less than $240 a yearˆ
  • 15,342 orphans are roaming for house and shelter in capital city of Nepal and more then 10,000 on other places.
  • 32% of the population of Nepal are unemployed and severely suffered from pain and suffering due to no income sources.
  • 49% illiteracy rate .
  • 2.6 doctors are available for each 100,000 inhabitants means no health and sanitation consciousness in Nepal.
  • 52% of Nepali children are malnourished so thousands of infant die every year due to malnutrition.

So to eradicate all those lacking, we believe volunteer in Nepal is necessary to bring change.
