Volunteer in Nawalparasi

Next to Chitwan , simply once we cross a big bridge, you can get to Nawalparsi. Mostly, Nawalparasi area is covered almost 75 percent of area by forest ,15 percent by water and rest by human civilization. As compared to Chitwan and Pokhara, this part has-not develop much and still people are dying of hunger and starvation. Nawalparasi is the main target of Flynepal,s next project for skill development, empowerment of women and organic farming in mountain areas.

As per natural status, Nawalparasi is full of mountains, forest and rivers and lakes. The most attractive place of Nawalparasi is the birth place of Gautam Buddha i.e. Lumbini. Thousands of people travel everyday to Lumbini for finding peace and prosperity in human life.

Accommodations - simple room with beds.

Meals - Breakfast occurs at 6:30 am and consists of a cup of tea and biscuits. Lunch is served at 9:00 to 9:30 am and is usually dal/bhat (rice, lentils, and vegetables). Dinner is at 6:30 to 7:00pm and is once more Dal/Bhat. The food is very simple but also extremely tasty and filling.

Suggestions - We advise you to bring Sleeping bag and mosquito net with you or you can always buy here which is 2-3 times cheaper than back home.

Volunteer in Dhulikhel

Location: Dhulikhel lies along the B.P Highway and Arniko Highway. Arniko Highway connects Kathmandu, Nepal''s capital city with Tibet''s border town of Kodari. Dhulikhel is located near the Himalayas at 1550 m above sea level and is situated 30 km southeast of Kathmandu and 74 km southwest of Kodari.
Climate: In November and December the weather is normally very clear and tropical-hot during the days but chilly and even cold in the evenings and nights. We therefore recommend light cotton clothing, sun-protection lotions as well as a rain coat and/or umbrella and a sweater or a jacket for colder nights.Comfortable walking shoes and sandals or slippers are also advisable.
Description: It is popular for its natural scenic beauty. Dhulikhel is the administrative center of Kavrepalanchok District, Nepal.Drinking water in Dhulikhel is one of the best water in Nepal. The town has benefited for hundreds of years from being on the trade route between the Kathmandu Valley and Tibet. Dhulikhel once an important trade route between Tibet and Nepal has the old buildings, cobbled streets and ancient temples. Dhulikhel offers the travelers the superb views of the snow capped mountain ranges and many places for day hikes.Dhulikhel has a glorious past that can be witnessed in the lovely building and intricate woodcarving found among the shop-lined streets and in the temples. The major places of worship here are the Narayan and Harisiddhi temples, which are adorned with profuse wood carvings. The Gokhureswar Mahadev temple, a 30-minute walk to the eastern part of town, is a peaceful and scenic spot. The Bhagwati temple is situated at a height in the western part of Dhulikhel and dominates the skyline.
