Volunteer for Hospitality and cooking Program(Cook For change)

When you seriously want to do a volunteer work in Nepal but have no idea about:
  • What to do?
  • I don't have lots of money to donate?
  • I dont have any qualification/ skills?
  • Can't speak English?
Well it’s not always about money, why not volunteer your time? Which is the best idea ever. Not every time money can buy happiness.
Would you like to enjoy having a chit chat and sharing a cup of tea with poor local people and orphans which you will cook/prepare for them. We are looking for dedicated and caring volunteers to join our valued team and help us in our new campaign "COOK FOR CHANGE".

In short and brief, volunteer will care for the destitute isolated people and orphans. Volunteer will assist people of orphanages, child care homes and community care center to create, cook and serve food for poor people everyday. You will cook, serve and eat with them.
It is not necessary that you have to volunteer for whole long day or week. You can work how many days you want and hours as well. This volunteer program is really flexible so you can initiate anytime you want.

You have two benefits in this volunteer program:
  • You will be taking care of poor people as a part of hospitality and in return they will teach you how to cook traditional Nepali food and other side dishes.(You will learn to cook Nepali food)
  • You will cook your dishes and Nepali dishes (once you learned), which means you are paying them you time and skill which is much more valuable and worth than money.

Requirement: Basic cooking and hospitality knowledge

Duration: 1 week to as long as you want

Initial date: Any day you want because all our volunteer programs and activities runs throughout the year.

NOTE:- If you just want professional cooking techniques and recipes of Nepali and other side dishes please contact us.
